Freeletics.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> At that time, hardly anyone knew about it and now it has become a huge hype internationally. <strong>On my way removing 80 kg (170 lbs) of body fat, I have of course regularly looked left and right<\/strong> in order <strong>to optimize<\/strong> my <strong>nutrition and my training.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>True to the Cou\u00e9 method:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"notranslate\"> &#8222;Every day, in every way, I&#8217;m getting better and better.&#8220;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> In this article I would like to <strong>introduce<\/strong>\u00a0you to\u00a0<strong>Freeletics,<\/strong> my class=\"notranslate\"><span id=\"Zur_Historie\">The\u00a0History<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> In following my path is described which lead\u00a0to Freeletics and a weight loss of 170 lbs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Wie_bin_ich_zu_Freeletics_gekommen\">How did I come to Freeletics?<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>I was in 2012 still severely obese (160 kg (350 lbs) at 1.86 m (6 feet 1<sup>15<\/sup>\u2044<sub>64<\/sub> inch) height)<\/strong> and <strong>have lost about 80 kg (170 lbs) of body weight<\/strong>\u00a0within 2 years with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.superhumanoid.info\/superblog\/pawels-paleo-fitness-uebungen-hiit\/\">Paleo and HIIT and later with Freeletics<\/a><strong>!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>So I know how\u00a0it is to be severely obese.<\/strong> On my way to effective weight loss, I was searching\u00a0<strong>a simple and effective exercise for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.superhumanoid.info\/superblog\/abnehmen-mit-der-paleo-diaet-steinzeit-diaet\/\">losing weight for very obese<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> I <strong>have started with simple <a href=\"http:\/\/www.superhumanoid.info\/superblog\/pawels-paleo-fitness-uebungen-hiit\/\">basic exercises and bodyweight exercises<\/a> like <a title=\"Simple and effective exercise for losing weight for obese\" href=\"http:\/\/www.superhumanoid.info\/superblog\/2014\/08\/16\/einfache-uebung-zum-abnehmen-squat-hiit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">squats<\/a>,<\/strong> they are very well suited for severely obese people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <em>My 15 months young daughter could\u00a0not even walk properly, but squatting right!<\/em><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <em>So this exercise must be ideal for us.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> I know that, because I then also started squats even with 160 kg (350 lbs) body weight and had very good experiences with it and generally with bodyweight\u00a0exercises.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> These exercises are still my favorites and fully integrated into my daily training routine.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"notranslate\"><span id=\"Wie_war_also_nun_mein_Werdegang_bis_ich_zu_Freeletics_kam\">So what was I doing\u00a0until I started with Freeletics?<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>Mainly HIIT and interval training protocols<\/strong> <a title=\"Pawel's Paleo Fitness\" Power Tips to\u00a0german speaking folks.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"HIIT\">HIIT<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>High-intensity interval training (HIIT) promotes a\u00a0maximum effort in the body<\/strong> to reach the muscle fatigue and maximum oxygen use in a short time.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The harder your muscles work, the more oxygen they need.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Secondly, it alternates periods of intense intensity with periods of moderate to low intensity<\/strong> and low expenses.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Interval training demands the\u00a0metabolism significantly longer than a cardio\u00a0training of the same or even longer duration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> By combining the above two principles you can maximize fat burning and muscle growth by significantly shorter workouts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <em>HIIT maximizes an increased metabolic rate, optimizes muscle growth and muscle retention\u00a0while boosting\u00a0the fat loss and burned calories during and after the exercise.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Intervall_Training_Protokolle\">Interval training protocols<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Interval training protocols differ in the length of high and low intensity,<\/strong> the ratio of high to low intensity and intensity during exercise.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Three leading protocols are the Tabata method, the Little Method and Turbulence Training.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span equipment or fitness studio membership is needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>I am doing Freeletics for over a year.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>I like it when things are time-saving and at the same time effectively, can be performed anytime, anywhere<\/strong> and this claims were\u00a0fulfilled with Freeletics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> I had to give it a go!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> I think it&#8217;s great that the training program is very flexible.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> You are not tied to one location.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Even on vacation or on a business trip you can perform the Freeletics program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>No Excuses!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> A <strong>training session usually lasts between 15 and 45 minutes depending on the fitness level<\/strong> of the athlete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>The exercises looked very hard, I wanted to try\u00a0them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> I wanted to find out whether I can really comply to:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"notranslate\"> &#8222;Never Give up&#8220;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> by Winston Churchill.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Freeletics brings you to your personal limit when you only allow it.<\/strong> For me it has been the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"notranslate\"><span id=\"Du_bist_nicht_allein\">You&#8217;re not alone<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>You can train alone or together with other<\/strong> like-minded people in so-called Freeletics groups that have now formed in every major city all around the world<strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Search at Facebook for &#8222;Freeletics.Cityname&#8220;.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Example of Munich:<\/strong> <a noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/Freeletics.Muenchen\/<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">The Munich group has <strong>nearly 9,000 members (as of 12\/2014) and is growing rapidly.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> In addition, many free athletes meet at various locations in Munich to train together.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Starten_mit_freien_bungen\">Start with free exercises<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>The exercises have names like &#8222;Aphrodite&#8220; or &#8222;Zeus&#8220;, \u00a0which are Greek gods<\/strong> who are known for their athletic body.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><em><strong>For the first\u00a05 weeks I started\u00a0with the free exercises<\/strong> to build up a base.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Example:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Aphrodite<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Max exercises (maximum repetitions)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Dione<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Metis<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">I have finished the so-called <strong>&#8222;Hell Week&#8220;<\/strong>\u00a0in Week 5 with the following workouts:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Day 1: Dione or Zeus<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Day 2: Squat MAX &amp; MAX Pushup &amp; Metis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Day 3: Dione<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Day 4: Aphrodite<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Day 5: Dione or Zeus<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Day 6: Aphrodite<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\"> Day 7: Dione or Zeus &amp; Metis &amp; Squat MAX Day 8, 9 and 10: rest.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>&#8222;Hell Week&#8220; means a lot of training.<\/strong><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>7 days and 7 times Freeletics.<\/strong>\u00a0You should always be trying to break your\u00a0own PBs (Personal Best).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Bist_Du_Anfnger\">Are you a beginner?<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>For beginners, it may be better, easier to enter to get used to the exercise.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Especially as a beginner you should slowly increase.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Otherwise, it can lead to overload your muscles and that would be counterproductive. <strong>More is not always better!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>You should not perform more than one training session per day,<\/strong> because even through one\u00a0training session per\u00a0day very good results can be achieved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>It makes sense, for example, to perform a workout every other day.<\/strong> So the body has enough time to rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <em>For example first basic exercises like squats, perform push ups, etc., combined with Tabata intervals.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Der_15_Wochen_Coach\">The 15 weeks Coach<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>After the 5 weeks I&#8217;ve then bought the Coach<\/strong>\u00a0and trained\u00a0for 15 weeks.\u00a0There is\u00a0now Freeletics by subscription and even a running app for runners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>It was great,\u00a0it was hard, perfect!<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>As it should be!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Eigener_Trainingsplan\">Private training schedule and plan<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Meanwhile, I have my own training schedule.<\/strong> Every Saturday in the morning I start planning my training schedule for the entire week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <em>Freeletics is a part of my traning plan.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>My plan is an\u00a0individually developed Split Training, combining\u00a0Freeletics, Jumping Rope (after the Tabata protocol) and Weight Training<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><em>Perhaps I will start another\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">coach for 15 weeks<\/a>\u00a0again. Because it is great!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"notranslate\"><span id=\"Was_brauchst_Du_fr_Freeletics\">What do you need for Freeletics?<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Your body, that&#8217;s all &#8230;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><em>Don&#8217;t tell me that\u00a0you have no body.<\/em><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <em>This is an excuse that no one will believe!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Welche_Ausstattung_ist_notwendig\">What equipment is needed?<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Freeletics is a highly intense training program, in which no equipment is needed.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> The exercise resistance, which will decide on the dosage of the training stimulus is regulated solely by your body weight.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Similar to CrossFit, but without equipment.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The significant difference is that CrossFit often uses equipment\u00a0like barbells or kettlebells.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>As no special equipment is needed, Freeletics can be performed anywhere in the world.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> The concept of Freeletics is\u00a0holistic.<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"notranslate\">Apart from the pure training you should also change your diet, otherwise the training evaporates easily.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>&#8222;Abs are made \u200b\u200bin the kitchen!&#8220;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h5><span class=\"notranslate\"> <span id=\"Empfehlungen_fr_eine_Ausstattung\">Recommendations for equipment<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Actually, you need only yourself &#8230;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> In most cases, the workout consists of a mix of pull-ups, stretching, sit-ups and jumps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>&#8230;
